The Chicago Chapter American Accounts Payable Association (CAAPA) affiliated on June 15th 2009 with the National AAPA.
We offer educational classes, volunteer oportunities, networking and leadership roles within our community. The Chicago AAPA was the 2nd affliated Chapter of the AAPA and the first Chapter in the nation to hold an educational meeting. That first meeting was held on November 11, 2009.
At CAAPA will strive to provide accounting professionals with the most up to date and relavent information and knowledge regarding the ever changing rules and regulations of our profession and the most opportunities to network and find friends and support throughout our membership.

You can nominate your department to win the 2010 AAPA National Prism Award!
The American Accounts Payable Association Strategic Leadership Task Force (SAPLTF) presents its prestigious Prism Awards to accounts payable departments nationally who have shown excellence in leadership in the following areas: Technology, Performance, Process Improvement and Overall Best Practices.
Submissions are due by July 2, 2010.
Awards will be presented at the National Fall Forum September 22, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada!
