AAPA Inception
Founded in 1982 as the nation’s only professional association for payroll and related professionals, the American Payroll Association in 2008, understanding the ever increasing need for continuing education and cooperation between payroll and accounts payable, formed the American Accounts Payable Association. Since that time the AAPA has increased at a national level to include all level of accounts payable professional. .
